Peggy Kresch

Peggy joined the Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Center in May 2004. Prior to coming to the Health and Fitness Center, she taught physical education at the elementary school level for 15 years. She brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the Fitness ream in the areas of aqua and youth health and fitness as well as functional training for all populations. Prior to her career as a Physical Education Teacher, Peggy worked with physically and mentally challenged children and adults as a Recreational Therapist in the North Shore area. In her free time, Peggy enjoys outdoor activities including going northward for camping, kayaking, biking, and skiing.


Rick Bronswick

B.S. in Biology (pre-med) Minor Psychology - DePaul University

Rick joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center in May 2003. Rick brings a lifetime of personal experience in bodybuilding and fitness. Rick completed training for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1996 and currently is an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) instructor here at the Health and Fitness Center. Prior to being employed here at the Health and Fitness Center, Rick worked in the medical field for over 10 years as a Cardiac Technician. The knowledge and experience he has obtained in the medical field has made him very competent in dealing with client’s health issues.


Amy Shouse

B.S. in Exercise Science/Kinesiology - Western
Illinois University

Amy joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center in May 2009 as a personal trainer. She chose to pursue a career in the fitness industry because of her passion for exercise and overall health. She is highly motivated and has a strong desire to help people reach their goals and improve their lifestyle, health, confidence, and overall well being. Amy enjoys working in the areas of weight loss, weight management, and group training. She likes to create workout programs using a variety of equipment, including medicine balls, physioballs and the Bosu. Amy also enjoys interval and circuit training. In her free time she enjoys dance classes, writing, spending time with her family, friends and her dog Chevy.


Ann Orchard

B.S. in Sociology - Illinois Western University

Ann has been with Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center since December 2008. Ann has worked in the fields of social service and education prior to pursuing her avid interest in the health and fitness field. She is a highly motivated individual who believes that with hard work and persistence, fitness goals can be reached. She enjoys assisting members and looks forward to helping them reach their personal fitness goals. In her spare time, Ann loves spending time with her husband, Paul and her sons, Kyle and Colin. She also has a soft spot for her dogs, Abby and Ginger. Ann’s interests include running, weight lifting, and reading a good book.

Danielle joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center as a fitness intern. Her hard work and dedication provided her the opportunity to became the Testing Coordinator in September 2006. Her responsibilities include scheduling and performing fitness assessments, member orientations, and personal training. She also motivates members in the Group Exercise Department as a Spin and Body Pump Instructor. Danielle especially enjoys working in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, yoga, and marathon/sport event training. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband Brett, running, biking, skiing and watching movies with popcorn.


Dave Dean

Dave joined Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Center in March 2002. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his previous full-time position as an Athletic Trainer. Dave came to the Chicago land area in 2000 as a Certified Athletic Trainer employed by a local university. He was also employed previously at the Bannockburn Club in 2002 as a Personal Trainer. Unable to give up Sports Medicine entirely, Dave also works as an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife Maryann, his daughter Riley, son Beckham and two rotties Titan and Koda.


Hannah Mich

Hannah joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center in January of 2007. Prior to coming to LHFC, Hannah worked as a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Training at the University of Minnesota while earning her Master’s Degree. Her responsibilities included training and assisting with rehabilitation of the student-athlete population at the University. Hannah is also a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends doing a variety of activities. You might find Hannah camping, hiking, cycling, running, playing basketball, or cooking.


Ashley Bohner

Ashley joined Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Center after graduating college in 2003. Her personal training specialty is general weight loss while creating and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. She also enjoys working in the areas of flexibility, functional training, and sport event training. In her spare time Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Katie Sudmeier

Katie joined the Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center in March 2007. Prior to working at LHFC, Katie volunteered at the Winona Senior Friendship Center as an Exercise Specialist for their on-site fitness center. Katie came to the Chicago area to complete her internship at the Medical Center Health Institute where her responsibilities included lectures to weight management groups, and assisting the staff Exercise Physiologist with the Healthy Heart Program at a local middle school. In her spare time, Katie enjoys walking, running, reading, and spending time out doors with family and friends.


Jenny Maiden

B.S. in Exercise Science - Ball State University

Jenny joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center April 2006. She has been working in the health and wellness field for over 15 years. Prior to joining LHFC she worked as a Recreation Supervisor and Corporate Wellness Specialist. Jenny enjoys working with all levels of fitness and creating positive challenging workouts to help reach an individual’s goals. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys competing in various sports leagues and spending time with her three incredible children.


Bryant Wright

Bryant joined Lindenhurst Health and Fitness Center in November of 2009 as a personal trainer. Previously he worked as a teaching assistant, teaching various sport and fitness classes while earning his Master’s degree from Western Illinois University. Bryant’s training specialty includes functional training for the elderly population and training athletes from various levels of competition in all types of sports. He also enjoys teaching water based fitness classes. In his free time, Bryant enjoys competing in Olympic Lifting, playing men’s fastpitch softball, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
