Digital Motion Analysis
Digital Motion Analysis: The ability for a player to visualize exactly what is happening in his or her pitching or hitting motion can drastically imporve the avility to learn proper and effective baseball & softball biomechanics. At Play Ball USA, we offer Digital Motion Analysis (DMA). using the state-of-the-art Right View Pro software program, in order to break down a player's pitching or hitting motion frame by frame, thus giving us one of the greatest tools to help identify mechanical inefficiencies and highlight strengths. Better yet, an athlete can choose his/her favorite major league player to be compared to in a side-by-side comparison! Learning by doing can only take a player so far - once a player is able to SEE what is happening with his or her motion, he or she will be more effective at correcting any weaknesses.
To take advantage of this essential training tool, you can schedule a lesson time* to come in to Play Ball USA where we can capture a player's motion on video. Each player will receive an in-depth evaluation of his or her pitching or hitting mechanics; identifying existing strengths and future growth areas. You will also be provided with a recommended strategy for attacking any inefficiencies to get you on track for improvement.
*DMA can be incorporated in any lesson but must be specified at the time the lesson is scheduled/booked.
