Therapy Pool Etiquette & Guidelines
- No Lap Swimming.
- This pool is designed for Physical Therapy, Individual & Group Exercisers.
- A Shower is required before entering.
- Proper Swim attire is required (Clean T-shirt & Shorts are permitted). Aquatic Shoes are highly recommended.
- No Diving, Jumping, Loud Activity, Food or Beverages is permitted
- Using equipment such as snorkels, fins and other diving equipment is prohibited.
- Admission to the pool is refused to all persons having any infectious or contagious conditions, or conditions which have the appearance of being infectious.
- Persons with abrasions, open sores, wounds that have not healed or wounds requiring bandages are not permitted.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or exhibiting erratic behavior are not permitted into the pool.
- No spitting, spouting of water, blowing your nose or introducing other contaminants into the pool is allowed.
- Only those who have been instructed by staff may use the Chair Lift.
- Personal conduct within the facility must be such that the safety of self and others is not jeopardized.
- Pool temperature range is 90-96 º F
The pool will be closed and classes canceled in the event of a local electrical storm. We suggest you call ahead (847-535-7000) to get a pool closing update.

Lap Pool Etiquette & Guidelines
The lap pool is a multi-purpose pool designed for lap swimming and aquatic classes. Pool scheduling is subject to change and often includes multiple activities at any one time. Refer to Lap pool schedules.
- Lap Lanes will be reserved during posted aquatic classes.
- Sharing swim lanes is encouraged and a commonly accepted practice during peak swim hours. (politely address current swimmer)
- A Shower is required before entering.
- Proper Swim attire is required. Aquatic Shoes are highly recommended for classes.
- No Diving or Jumping into the pool.
- No Food or Beverages.

- Children under the age of 16 are not permitted unless under the supervision of LFHFC Staff.
