Wellness 180°™ Testimonials
Sandra Weatherford:
One year ago, when I received a brochure in the mail for the Wellness 180 program, it didn't take me long to realize this sounded like a program that could really help me since I held three of the factors that was required for this program, overweight, hypertension, and diabetes. The thought of having a trainer and a dietician made my decision much eaiser.
When I made the phone call for an evaluation with Jennifer Labovitz, I immediately knew I had made the right decision. I've learned so much from this program. All my life I've struggled with my weight, lost weight, gained twice as much back, went on many diets and diet programs. In this program I've learned a lot about exercising and the importance of cardio and keeping the heart rate up. Since I've joined this program, I don't like to say that I'm dieting, because I'm not, I am just learning to eat healthy and enjoy what I eat. this program has not only helped me with my weight, it has helped me to maintain a normal blood pressure, my blood sugars are well controlled, and my "Hemoglobin 1AC results has dropped, and my doctor is pleased with my progress.
My ultimate goal in the Wellness 180 program is to lose at least 50 lbs. and keep it off. Within the year I've lost 30 to 36 lbs. It's still a struggle, for the past 2 1/2 to 3 months, I've been up and down, between those two numbers, but I'm not giving up.
My biggest obstacle in Wellness 180, is hard to say, staying motivated can be a challenge, but thanks to Robin Balmes, who has been in the program with me since day one, sometimes we have to push each other, and we all need that sometime. Thanks to Jennifer, who keeps me on "my toes".
Right now, my biggest challenge in this program is dietary. Sometimes, I crave "sweets" to the point that it's really hard for me to control.
I have to give thanks to Jennifer for all the hard work she does in Wellness 180.
Sandy Pokett:
This was so perfect for me. I can’t think of more ideal circumstances for me to really keep a commitment to my own well-being, once and for all.
I’ve been going to the fitness center about four times a week. It’s a lovely, welcoming place, and it’s become my new “escape,” if you can call it that. I desperately needed a lifestyle overhaul, and the Wellness program has definitely started me on the right path. I have lost weight, I have more energy and feel more optimistic than I have for a very, very long time. I worry less. I am enjoying my life, which is something I didn’t believe was possible when one faces sad and trying times. During the program I have had some physical therapy to help me deal with disk problems which have been somewhat of an exercise “obstacle.” And yes, the physical therapy practice is right there in the fitness center building, as well.
I love it that, as we continue through the phases of the Wellness 180 program (4 x 45 degrees), we will have access to program resources for the better part of a year. I definitely plan to keep going.
Robin Balmes:
I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed the wellness 180 phase 1. You have given us such great incentive and encouragement to obtain good results. I know I would not be as enthusiastic without your help and constant smile. You have a special way with people and I am very fortunate to be able to work with you. I look forward to Phase 2 (I think, ha ha).
Rick Lowe:
I love working out in the wellness 180 program because the program fits my busy schedule. The instructor, Jennifer, takes an individualized approach to wellness. In a group setting, I feel like I’m getting individualized instruction even though I’m working in a group environment. The classes are great. We work with a dietician, a psychologist and a registered nurse to give us a complete program. I would ‘heartily’ recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their health and well-being. I’ve lost over 20 pounds already in the program and already feeling the healthy benefits of the program on a daily basis.
